Several appointments have been announced across the insurance industry.
Brokerslink expands regional leadership
Global broking network Brokerslink has appointed four new regional managers to drive growth and strengthen collaboration across its worldwide operations.
The new appointments are Enitan Solarin (pictured immediately above, left) for Africa, Rodney Farah (pictured immediately above, centre) for the Americas, Tushar Thakker for Asia-Pacific, and Lívia Bisoni for Europe. They join Tatiana Akl (pictured immediate above, right), who continues as regional manager for the Middle East.
Each regional manager will lead dedicated steering teams of independent broking experts, focused on cross-border business development and sharing insights across the network. Brokerslink operates in 133 countries, the broadest footprint of any broking network.
José Manuel Fonseca, president and CEO of Brokerslink, highlighted the experience of the new managers, noting they “understand our vision for a different future of broking” and will support innovation and growth across their regions.
Fenchurch Law strengthens construction and property practice
Fenchurch Law has expanded its construction and property team.
Rob Goodship (pictured top, left) joins as partner, bringing 15 years of insurance litigation experience, particularly in resolving complex and high-value claims for corporate clients. He previously served as head of risk, insurance & compliance at Ardmore Group, gaining direct experience with construction risks and the implications of the Building Safety Act 2022.
Duncan Gray (pictured top, centre) has joined as a trainee solicitor, leveraging his background as a Chartered Structural Engineer and experience with tier-one contractors.
Their hires coincide with Fenchurch Law’s international expansion, including the opening of its Istanbul office, underlining a growing focus on construction insurance and client support in complex claims.
Allianz Commercial appoints new managing director in France
Allianz Commercial has named Christophe Zaniewski (pictured top, right) as managing director for France, effective April 2026. He succeeds Patrick Thiels, who will take on a new chief client officer role for the EMEA region.
Zaniewski brings over 25 years of experience in insurance, including executive roles at AIG France, Belgium and Luxembourg.
Based in Paris, he will oversee insurance activities for medium-sized companies, large corporates, and specialty risks, reinforcing Allianz’s position in commercial lines and specialty underwriting in the French market.
iFarm Underwriting strengthens agriculture team
iFarm Underwriting, Rokstone’s UK farm and agriculture MGA, has appointed James King to its underwriting team. King, formerly at Geo Agriculture, brings 13 years of farm and motor insurance experience. His role will focus on supporting brokers with farm combined, farm focus, property owners, and farm motor products.
Lee Ellis, head of iFarm Underwriting, emphasised that King’s technical expertise and sector knowledge will help the MGA maintain service standards while expanding cross-class underwriting capacity.
