Solana developers are considering increasing network block capacity by 66% – Bitget

Odaily Planet Daily News: As demand for block space increases, Solana developers are considering raising the network’s block capacity by 66%. According to a document released this week by core contributors, the new proposal SIMD-0286 suggests increasing Solana’s per-block compute unit (CU) limit from 60 million to 100 million.
This proposal aims to enable Solana to process more transactions and support more complex applications, such as decentralized exchanges (DEXs), MEV systems, and restaking protocols, without hitting the compute limit. (Coindesk)
