China Strengthens Business Ties with Belt and Road Partners in 2025 – The Diplomatic Insight


Beijing (TDI): Chinese enterprises have expanded practical cooperation with Belt and Road partner countries in trade, investment, and industry throughout 2025, according to data from the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade (CCPIT).
Over the past year, the council organized 407 business delegation trips, with 228 of them targeting Belt and Road partner nations, promoting stronger engagement between Chinese businesses and overseas markets.
In addition, CCPIT approved 707 overseas exhibition projects across 43 partner countries, covering a total exhibition space of 360,000 square meters and involving roughly 26,500 companies, Xinhua reported.

To support trade, China’s national trade promotion system issued 4.99 million certificates of origin and 559,600 commercial certificates for Belt and Road partners in the first 11 months of 2025.

Looking ahead, CCPIT plans to continue facilitating international business exchanges. “We will keep organizing Chinese business delegations to visit Belt and Road partner countries in 2026,” said council spokesperson Wang Wenshuai.
