The Delta Chamber of Commerce’s Dancing through the Decades Midwinter Gala will begin at 5:30 p.m. on Saturday, Feb. 7 at the Island Resort and Casino.
It’s that time of year again. Time when you hear the Chamber of Commerce talk about their Midwinter Gala. As with most Chamber events, Dancing Through the Decades is a great opportunity for businesses to market their products and services and network with other business people and community leaders.
The theme of Dancing Through the Decades creates a great opportunity for guests to dress up to match the theme. Come dressed as your favorite 80’s rocker, fancy flapper or a groovy disco queen. We want you to be comfortable so you can dance the night away.
The doors to Dancing through the Decades will open at 5:30 p.m. on Saturday, Feb. 7 at the Island Resort and Casino. New this year is the Dancing Through the Decades Mega Raffle. Although we wish everyone could attend in person, the mega raffle offers an opportunity for those unable to attend to still support the event. With a maximum of 400-$100 mega raffle tickets available, one lucky winner will walk away with $10,000.
Unlike other raffles, this is a reverse raffle where each number called excludes you from the grand prize and the goal is to be the last ticket standing. But don’t worry, throughout the night a variety of other great prizes will be given away at random to Mega Raffle ticket holders, and you need not be present to win.
For those attending the event who opt not to participate in the Mega Raffle, there will be additional “pay to play” options such as 50/50 and the ever-popular instant picks, where you are guaranteed to take home a prize valued at $10 or more!
Attendees will enjoy a delicious buffet by the Island Culinary team featuring Italian Chicken Breast with Sundried Tomato Pesto and Chef-Carved Tri-Tip Beef. Taylored Weddings will emcee the evening, keeping energy high with music from every decade, and the Island Resort is offering discounted room rates! Reserve your room by January 25 to secure the group rate.
