WASHINGTON — Chick-fil-A is offering a free breakfast item to rewards members nationwide this month.
From Tuesday, Feb. 17, through Saturday, Feb. 28, Chick-fil-A One members can claim a free Chick-fil-A Chicken Biscuit through the Chick-fil-A app during breakfast hours, the company said.
“We love finding ways to surprise and delight our guests, especially during this year’s ‘Newstalgia’ celebration in honor of 80 years,” Khalilah Cooper, vice president of brand strategy, advertising & media at Chick-fil-A, said. “What better way to celebrate than by giving a breakfast classic to our Chick-fil-A One® Members? It’s our small way of thanking guests for being part of our story, then and now.”
The company described the Chick-fil-A Chicken Biscuit as a “breakfast classic,” featuring a boneless chicken breast, seasoned, hand-breaded and served on a buttermilk biscuit baked fresh daily at each restaurant.
Rewards members can access the promotion by opening their Chick-fil-A app and viewing their rewards. The reward can be redeemed from restaurant opening hours until 10:30 a.m., while supplies last. It is limited to one reward per person, per Chick-fil-A One account.
No purchase is necessary. Guests can download the Chick-fil-A app through their phone’s app store or by visiting Chick-fil-A.com/one.
The giveaway is part of Chick-fil-A’s yearlong “Newstalgia” campaign, which the company said celebrates its 80-year heritage. The celebration has brought new drinks to the permanent menu, retro packaging and collectible cups, along with a nationwide sweepstakes that will give thousands of customers free food for a year.
Chick-fil-A said the Chicken Biscuit debuted in 1986, the same year the brand opened its first standalone restaurant.
“This year marks more than an anniversary — it’s a celebration of the memories, meals and meaningful moments that have brought people together at Chick-fil-A for generations,” Cooper said in January. “We have so much in store this year, delivering menu items and experiences that are fresh and exciting yet firmly rooted in Chick-fil-A’s renowned quality, care, generosity, and hospitality.”
Part of those new menu editions include Frosted Sodas and Floats.
