Judge goes a little wild in tossing out chicken wing case – businessinsurance.com


A federal judge in Chicago had some fun as he dismissed a lawsuit Tuesday against Buffalo Wild Wings.
In 2023 a man sued the chain in a proposed class action, alleging it “deceived consumers by selling boneless wings that are not actually de-boned chicken wings,” Reuters wrote Tuesday in reporting the new development.
Here’s what judge John Tharp Jr. wrote in part, per the news service:
The story says the guy does get a few weeks to amend his suit “to present any additional facts that would allow the case to go ahead,” Reuters wrote.
Maybe you could say the judge threw him a bone.
