Information session scheduled for March 1
Randolph County United is launching its Business Support Grant program, with applications available beginning Monday, March 1. An informational session will be held from 1 to 2:30 p.m. Tuesday, March 10, in the Randolph County United board room.
The grant program offers up to $25,000 for Randolph County businesses that have been in operation for at least 12 months, are in good standing and have not received funds previously through the county’s COVID-era revolving loan fund program.
Grants are for helping businesses prepare for potential future emergencies or shutdowns. Examples of eligible projects include implementing remote work tools, creating remote-friendly job roles and business continuity planning.
VP honored
Becker’s Hospital Review has named Reid Health vice president and chief information officer Muhammad Siddiqui as one of its “hospital and health system CIOs to know” for 2026.
Siddiqui was one of 135 recognized nationally and the only in Indiana to make the list. He has been with Reid Health since August 2022.
“Mr. Siddiqui uses his CIO role at Reid Health to drive innovation that directly benefits caregivers and patients,” Becker’s said. “His leadership is built on cross-functional collaboration, thoughtful AI governance, and clear alignment with rural healthcare realities.”
Before joining Reid, Siddiqui had 20 years of experience working in healthcare systems, including as chief information officer for the International Medical Center in Saudi Arabia.
Tour scheduled
Randolph County United is partnering on an event this week.
Parker Health & Rehab will host a “hard hat tour” from 4 to 7 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 26. The facility is located at 359 Randolph St., Parker City.

The Indiana Mineral Aggregates Association honored US Aggregates recently during ints 2026 Winter Workshops.

Partnering
CVS Pharmacy recently became an official health and wellness partner of the U.S. Soccer Federation and National Women’s Soccer League.
As part of the partnership, it is making an investment to develop community multi-use soccer fields. CVS is partnering with two-time Women’s World Cup champion and Olympic Gold Medalist Alex Morgan on the effort.
“CVS Pharmacy is uniquely positioned to strengthen health at the community level,” said CVS Health executive vice president and president, pharmacy and consumer wellness Len Shankman. “As an Official Health and Wellness Partner of U.S. Soccer and the NWSL, we have a valuable opportunity to deepen our ties in the neighborhoods we serve. Soccer positively impacts health and community connection,1 making this sponsorship a natural fit. We’re proud to partner with the NWSL, as well as the U.S. Soccer Men’s and Women’s National Teams to help expand access to opportunities that will support wellness for generations of athletes to come.”
Hosting drive
Menards stores are holding a pet supplies drive through the end of March.
Supplies needed include food, treats, feeders, collars and beds. Items collected will be donated to local humane associations.
Donation boxes will be near the doors at Menards locations, including in Muncie, Richmond and Celina, Ohio.
Launching program
Indiana Chamber of Commerce’s Wellness Council of Indiana is working with Indiana Family and Social Services Administration’s Division of Mental Health to launch Recovery at Work.
The new program is a statewide training series designed to help employers build supportive workplaces for those struggling with substance use disorder. The two-part training sessions will be held in seven counties.
The training sessions are free and open to the public. Sessions in Allen County will be held April 8 and 29. Sessions in Marion County are slated for September.
Applications open
Indiana Economic Development Corporation is accepting applications for the 2026 Community Collaboration Fund.
The fund is designed to develop partnerships between Indiana entrepreneur support organizations and fill service gaps. It is available to nonprofit organizations, academic institutions and local government units.
Projects eligible for $5,000 to $40,000 in funding can focus on entrepreneur education, tech enablement or acceleration. Organizations must provide a 25% match.
