The latest update for RoboCop: Rogue City pushed to Steam today reportedly replaced the game files with an early build for an unannounced Hunter: The Reckoning game, according to multiple Twitter reports.
Hunter: The Reckoning is a tabletop RPG within the World of Darkness series. Four video games have previously been released: Hunter: The Reckoning for Xbox and GameCube in May 2002, Hunter: The Reckoning – Wayward for PlayStation 2 in September 2003, Hunter: The Reckoning – Redeemer for Xbox in October 2003, and Hunter: The Reckoning – The Beast of Glenkildove for PC, Mac, iOS, Android, and browsers in January 2025. All three console games were developed by High Voltage Software.
The build of the Hunter: The Reckoning game that replaced RoboCop: Rogue City in today’s update is dated May 20, 2025. Screenshots show an unfinished game. A credits screen confirm it is developed by Teyon. It is currently unclear whether this is a game still in development, or a game that was cancelled before an official announcement.
Gematsu has contacted Teyon for comment and will update this post with any response.
