HSBC HK: Continued Geopolitical Tensions May Attract More Capital Inflows to HK – AASTOCKS.com

HSBC Hong Kong's CEO, Maggie Ng, told the Hong Kong Economic Times (HKET) that, if geopolitical tensions persist, it could intensify investment portfolio adjustments among global investors, potentially leading to increased capital inflows into Hong Kong. This is because certain regional markets are no longer viewed as solid, while Asia—particularly China—is perceived as undervalued.

If global capital reduces its allocation to Europe and the US by 2-3 ppts, this would already be a significant boost for Hong Kong and mainland China.
