MSIG USA announced Monday it has appointed Matt Thompson, formerly with Starr, as distribution leader for the south-central region.
Mr. Thompson will report to Joseph Fitzpatrick, head of distribution for MSIG USA.
Mr. Thompson most recently was regional vice president for the south-central region at Starr. Before that, he held various senior client and business development roles at American International Group. Earlier in his career, he was a vice president in Marsh’s private equity practice in New York.
He will lead the insurer’s growth strategy across Texas, Oklahoma, Mississippi, Louisiana and Arkansas.
