Rourkela: A 38-year-old man was arrested by Lephirpada police of Sundargarh district on Wednesday on the charges of killing his parents two days ago over partition of their ancestral land.Victims Manuel Toppo (70) and Benerika (65), natives of Dalkijharan village under Lephripada police limits, used to staty with their elder son Patris at Suarijor village. On Monday afternoon, Manuel and Benerika's younger son Patras Toppo, who stayed separately with his family, reached Patris's house and asked his parents for partition of their land. As Manuel denied, Patras got infuriated and severely beat his parents with an iron pipe.
