Business news giant Bloomberg is going all in on the Formula 1 Miami Grand Prix, with what it calls Bloomberg House Miami. Located in the Miami Design District, the space looks to create the kind of energy that Bloomberg brings to Davos to South Florida, using the Formula 1 race as a backdrop for content that spans business, tech, sports and culture.
With the booming business of Formula 1 as a backdrop and its international races as landmark convening moments for finance leaders, Bloomberg says its Miami venture will help explore the forces reshaping the multi-trillion-dollar global sports economy. Among the events planned for the week is a live taping of the “Hot Pursuit” auto industry podcast by hosts Matt Miller and Hannah Elliott. Bloomberg TV will broadcast live from the space, and panel discussions are planned. Guests will have the opportunity to connect with Bloomberg editors and talent, hear from influential newsmakers, and take part in special tapings.
“We’re building Bloomberg House as a global concept that can show up where business interests and influence intersect,” says Leigh Gilmore, Global Head of Bloomberg Live Events. “In a huge, news-making calendar year for the sport industry, Miami F1 week is a natural next chapter to connect some of the most important leaders in business, innovation and culture.”
Bloomberg House Miami will open its doors April 29-30 inside the Contessa restaurant in the Miami Design District.
