Delhi is likely to witness unusually warm, early summer-like conditions on Thursday, 26 March, 2026 with temperatures staying 23 to 34 degrees Celsius above normal for this time of year.
According to the IMD, the country is likely to experience a warmer-than-average March. In most parts of the northern and central regions, the temperatures during the day will remain between 20-40°C with some areas experiencing an increase of -1-4°C above the normal temperatures due to the lack of cloud formation and rainfall.
Hill regions including Jammu and Kashmir and parts of Himachal Pradesh may experience light snowfall and rain. Srinagar is expected to remain cold with Minimum at -1°C and Maximum at 6°C as cloud cover and light precipitation may continue for the next 48 hours.
