China to Restart Visa Service in India After Five Years: After tourist visas for Chinese citizens were brought back, the Chinese Embassy in India has made another important announcement to make the visa process easier.
The Chinese Ambassador to India, Xu Feihong, announced on Monday that a new online visa application system will be introduced very soon. This system is expected to start working on December 22, just before the New Year, making it more convenient for people who want to apply for a visa.
According to the announcement shared on the social media platform X, applicants will no longer need to rely only on offline methods. Instead, they will be required to complete an application form online and upload all the necessary documents through the official website. The website provided for this process is: visaforchina.cn/DEL3_EN/qianzh.
In addition to this, the embassy also shared details about the China Visa Application Service Centre located in New Delhi. This center will continue to assist applicants if needed. It is open from Monday to Friday, between 9:00 AM and 3:00 PM. People can also contact the center by phone at 91-9999036735 for any questions or support.
The visa center is located at Concourse Floor, Shivaji Stadium Metro Station, Baba Kharak Singh Marg, Connaught Place, New Delhi-110001. This new online system is expected to make the visa application process faster, simpler, and more accessible for everyone.
