Nail Service Business Opening In Celoron – Post Journal

CELORON- Elegant Acrylics will open its doors to the public on Friday for a soft opening.
Salon Owner Leslie Mcintyre said an official grand opening will occur later on Nov. 20. The space will be located at 11 Boulevard Ave., Celoron, the location of the former Celoron General Store and the Brindle Barn Company.
One of the large focuses of building renovations was the creation of seven individual suites that Mcintrye has made. The suites will be available for other beauty professionals to lease out. This not only collaborates resources between local businesses, but also brings more offerings into the village. The suites are spacious areas with most being 10 feet by 11 feet, but some being 11 feet by 12 feet, according to Mcintyre. Mcintyre stated that this building was a beautiful location at the perfect price and time, and when she saw the building available she jumped on the opportunity. This allows her to fulfill local officials’ recent goals of bringing a new business into the space as well.
“I’m looking to work with fellow professionals within the same industry you know, to help each other advance; to give other professionals a place with a face, with a brand that makes them stand out,” said Mcintyre .
The business will be offering advanced nail care enhancements, and Mcintyre herself will be offering advanced training for nail techs. Mcintyre completed the required certifications and became an advanced nail tech, and has since been practicing and critiquing her skills for the last five years. Despite currently working in manufacturing, Mcintyre has devoted hundreds of hours to advancing these skills and readying the business. While anxious, Mcintyre is incredibly eager to complete this dream, and open a store for a career she loves dearly.
