CLAREMORE, Okla. — The Rogers State University Valorant Esports team received its national championship rings.
The team competed in the National Esports Collegiate Conference (NECC) where it won its first national championship. The team was honored at a recent ceremony.
“We have built ourselves into a stable, successful Esports program,” RSU Esports Coach Holden Craig said. “Our leadership – including Dr. Don Raleigh and Dr. Mark Rasor – has provided productive, forward-thinking leadership, which has helped the program to become the success that it has.”
Craig presented the team members with their rings and gave RSU President Dr. Don Raleigh a personalized jersey.
“I am beyond proud of our Valorant team for achieving national success at the highest level and was grateful to be able to celebrate them with the rest of the RSU community,” Craig said. “This team helped set a high standard for RSU Esports, and I appreciate all of the time and effort they invested in our program.”
