Democratic Party MP, Belind Këlliçi, invited to the studio of the show “Kjo Javë” in News24, commented on the latest political developments in the country, focusing on SPAK’s report regarding the file against Deputy Prime Minister Belinda Balluku, a document that was sent to the deputies of the Mandates Council.

According to Këlliç, the SPAK report mentions significant financial gains suspected of being illegal by Balluku over the years.
“According to the data I have, the report on Balluku talks about 300 apartments and two boats illegally obtained from her affairs over the years. The file states that these 300 apartments and two boats were obtained in a corrupt manner through tenders and public procurement procedures,” declared the DP MP.
In this regard, analyst Fatos Lubonja also reacted, raising questions about the nature of the accusations and SPAK’s actions so far.
“If SPAK has this data in its file, here we are not only dealing with a violation of equality in tenders, but we are dealing with pure corruption. The question is why a charge of corruption has not been filed and why the case has not gone to the Constitutional Court,” Lubonja said.
