Co-op annual meeting
Stockholders and members of The Co-op Farm and Garden are invited to its 91st Annual Meeting, to be held at at 7 p.m. on Monday, Jan. 26 at 216 East Washington St.
This year the membership will be electing three Board of Trustee positions. There will be reports from the accounting firm Leffel, Otis, Warwick and the co-op management team. Attendees will have an opportunity to win co-op gift cards worth up to $50.
The meeting provides an opportunity for attendees to meet board members and management staff and to have their voices heard.
Cockburn achieves milestone

Stew Cockburn, a certified professional horticulturist and foreman at New Dungeness Nursery and Landscapes by Cockburn, recently became an ecoPRO Certified Sustainable Landscape Professional. The designation demonstrates an advanced level of professionalism and knowledge of more than 200 sustainable landscaping practices. Candidates must pass a comprehensive exam that assesses an individual’s command of sustainable practices in the design, installation and maintenance of landscapes.
According to Cockburn, he is currently the only professional in Clallam County with ecoPRO certification.
