Wausau Chamber accepting nominations for 2026 Small Businesses awards – wausaudailyherald.com

WAUSAU − The Wausau Region Chamber of Commerce is accepting nominations for its 2026 Small Businesses of the Year Awards.
Nominations will be accepted until 3 p.m. Feb. 13 at WausauChamber.com, according to a community announcement.
The awards honor business growth, community involvement and innovative efforts in the Wausau region. Both businesses and nonprofits can be nominated. Finalists will be named in the coming weeks, according to the announcement.
The winners will be announced at the Chamber’s Business EXPO April 16 at the Central Wisconsin Convention + Expo Center in Rothschild, according to the announcement. A live-streamed program featuring interviews with the finalists and the announcement of the recipients will begin at 10 a.m. It will be available for viewing through the Chamber’s Facebook page.
In 2025, In The Lite Electric won the Business category and Habitat for Humanity of Wausau – Restore won the Charitable Non-Profit category.
“The Chamber’s Small Business of the Year recognition has helped Habitat Wausau broaden our reach and elevate community conversations around affordable housing,” said Tiffany Arnold, executive director at Habitat for Humanity of Wausau. “We are honored to be included among the outstanding organizations recognized before us.”
