This morning in the International Ring at the Winter Equestrian Festival, in Wellington, Florida, Mimi Gochman piloted Gochman Sport Horse LLC’s Daydream to a score of 98 in the opening over fences round of the 3’6” Amateur-Owner Hunter, 18-35, division, during WCHR Hunter Week. It was the highest score of the class by 11 points, with the next highest score, an 87, earned by Colter, also ridden by Gochman. The course was set by Meghan Rawlins, and the class was judged by Mary Eufemia and Alex Jayne.
Daydream, a 10-year-old Belgian Warmblood (Mosito van het Hellehof x L’ Historie D’ O), began her show career in the young jumpers with Filip de Wandel before being sold in 2022 to Haylie Rolfe, who began competing her in the Green and Young Hunter divisions. In 2023, Rolfe competed Daydream in the Platinum Performance/USHJA International Hunter Derby Championship, where they finished fifth overall. At the end of that year, the Gochman family purchased the mare, who was initially ridden in the Amateur-Owners by Mimi’s sister, Sophie Gochman. Mimi began showing her at the 2025 Washington International Horse Show, where she earned the division championship.
Their round can be watched on Showgrounds Live.
