Several Chinese local governments rolled out financial incentives to support open-source artificial intelligence (AI) projects such as OpenClaw.
Following this widespread adoption, the National Computer Network Emergency Response Technical Team issued a risk warning Tuesday about the OpenClaw application. The agency pointed out that the AI agent software carries the risk of being fully controlled by attackers due to its high system permissions and vulnerable default configurations, citing existing cases of prompt injection, operational errors and malicious plug poisoning.
