The gathering also marked a step forward in expanding Nanhai's global economic network, with the inauguration of the Australia Nanhai Chamber of Commerce, Singapore Nanhai Chamber of Commerce, and United States Nanhai Chamber of Commerce, further strengthening its international business presence.

Building on the success of the 2025 Nanhai People Global Conference, Nanhai unveiled the theme for its 2026 convention: "Global Business Networks Converge in Nanhai." The city aims to use the platform to connect Nanhai people worldwide and integrate global resources.

During the gathering, members of the Nanhai community pledged nearly six million yuan in donations to support education, charity, and community initiatives, highlighting the strong tradition of philanthropy that underpins Nanhai's development.

Starry Lee Wai-king, a member of the Standing Committee of the National People's Congress and President of the Legislative Council of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region, addressed the gathering as a representative of the Nanhai community. She highlighted the strong potential for collaboration between Nanhai and Hong Kong, noting that Nanhai's manufacturing strength complements Hong Kong's advantages in international finance and professional services, enabling synergy across industrial, innovation, and capital chains.
The gathering sees the inauguration of the Australia Nanhai Chamber of Commerce, Singapore Nanhai Chamber of Commerce, and United States Nanhai Chamber of Commerce.
Wang Yong, Secretary of the CPC Nanhai District Committee, also extended an invitation to Nanhai people worldwide, encouraging them to stay connected with their hometown and work together toward its future development.
