At Design Engineers, Stephanie Riggan has been promoted to associate; Sam Stinson has been promoted to mechanical project engineer; Tiffany Koch has been promoted to senior electrical engineer; and Trevor Schoulte has been promoted to electrical consultant.
ImOn Communications has appointed Dave Ball to serve as manager of sales and operations in the metro area of Duluth, Minn., and Superior, Wis., where Imon recently announced the expansion of its 100 percent fiber internet network to the region known as the Twin Ports. Ball will lead ImOn’s regional sales team and drive customer acquisition as ImOn’s network footprint begins to take shape.
Founded in Cedar Rapids in 2007, ImOn currently serves seven metro areas across three states: Cedar Rapids, Iowa City, Dubuque, Sioux City (Iowa, Nebraska, South Dakota), Clinton, Marshalltown, and many rural communities across southeast Iowa. The Twin Ports region marks ImOn’s eighth metro area with fiber internet service.
New auto repair business: Christian Brothers Automotive, a leading automotive repair franchise, announced that its newest location, CBA Cedar Rapids, will open at 7 a.m. Monday, March 30. Owned and operated by local residents Lance and Gina Shaver, the new shop is at 3740 Westdale Pkwy. SW, Cedar Rapids. This marks the brand’s first location in the Cedar Rapids community and the Shavers’ first location within the CBA franchise system.
The business will offer a full range of automotive services, from routine maintenance and preventive care to advanced diagnostics and major repairs. CBA held a ribbon-cutting ceremony with the Cedar Rapids Metro Economic Alliance on March 24, and will celebrate its grand opening from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. June 6 with games, face painting, jump balloon, raffle giveaway and food.
Founded in 1982, Houston-based Christian Brothers Automotive has expanded to more than 330 locations across 30 states.
