
Harneys has appointed William Lee as a partner in its Hong Kong office, further strengthening the firm’s corporate practice.
Lee joins from Walkers’ Hong Kong office, where he was a partner. Earlier in his career, he practised in the London offices of UK firms Collyer Bristow and Mishcon de Reya.
He is qualified in England and Wales, and advises on a broad range of corporate matters across both private and public markets, including mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, multiple rounds of financing, corporate restructurings, private and public equity offerings, debt issuances, privatisations, as well as SPAC and de-SPAC transactions. He also advises companies on corporate governance, management and employee incentive schemes.
Lee’s clients include private equity funds, venture capital firms, Hong Kong- and US-listed companies, large private enterprises and family offices.
