About the Recognition
Now in its fourth year, the USA Today Best Financial Advisory Firms ranking is published in partnership with Statista, a global data and business intelligence company.
The methodology combines client and peer recommendations from an independent survey of more than 30,000 individuals, including clients, industry experts and financial advisers, with assets under management growth data from the SEC’s IAPD regulatory database. Growth was measured over both a one-year period, from January 2025 to January 2026, and a five-year period, from 2021 to 2026.
To qualify, firms must be registered as an SEC- and/or state-registered RIA, maintain a principal office in the United States, have no disciplinary disclosures and manage at least $500,000 in assets under management.
