DFI Retail returns to $925m profit in H1 – Hong Kong Business

Full-year organic revenue growth forecast lifted to 3%-4%.
DFI Retail Group swung to a profit attributable to shareholders of $925.12m (US$118m) in the first half of 2026, reversing a $297.92m (US$38m) loss from the previous year.
Underlying profit increased 11% to $917.28m (US$117m), whilst revenue declined 6% to $32.45b (US$4.14b).
The group declared an interim dividend of $0.49 (US$0.062) per share, up 77% from $0.27 (US$0.035) a year earlier, and maintained its full-year payout target at 70% of underlying profit.
Like-for-like sales at its continuing subsidiary businesses grew 3%. Health and Beauty maintained positive sales growth, whilst Convenience and Home Furnishings returned to growth.
DFI Retail raised its full-year organic revenue growth forecast to between 3% and 4%. It also expects underlying profit of between $2.23b (US$285m) and $2.39b (US$305m) for the year.
Separately, it announced the acquisition of a 100% interest in outdoor advertising provider Cody Hong Kong.
