Kirkland & Ellis has recently appointed Wilfred Ho as a partner in the litigation practice at the Hong Kong office. Prior to joining Kirkland, Ho had been a partner at White & Case in Hong Kong since 2023. Earlier in his career, he practised at Skadden.
Ho has extensive experience in international arbitration and commercial litigation, with a focus on advising Asian corporates and private equity funds in navigating high-risk and complex disputes. His clients span a range of sectors, including gaming, media, entertainment, hospitality, technology and energy. In arbitration matters, he advised clients under a broad range of institutional rules, including those of the HKIAC, CIETAC, ICC, NAI and SIAC.
Partner Neil McDonald said in a press release: “Wilfred is a transformative addition to our Asia litigation team. His dual expertise in international arbitration and commercial litigation, paired with his deep understanding of Greater China’s business landscape and cross-border transactional experience, make him uniquely equipped to guide clients through the most intricate and high-stakes dispute scenarios in today’s market.”
