Celtic renew interest in Zambia midfielder Klings Kangwa – ZamFoot

Scottish Premiership champions Celtic FC have reportedly renewed their interest in Klings Kangwa following the midfielder’s outstanding season in Israel with Hapoel Be’er Sheva.
The Zambia international has enjoyed one of the finest campaigns of his career, playing a key role in Hapoel Be’er Sheva’s 2025/26 Israeli Premier League title-winning season.
Kangwa has recorded 21 league goal contributions, scoring 12 goals and providing nine assists to establish himself as one of the standout midfielders in the division.
His impressive performances have earned him nominations for both the Israeli Premier League Player of the Season award and the Foreign Player of the Season accolade.
Celtic were previously interested in signing Kangwa in 2023 when Brendan Rodgers was in charge at Celtic Park. However, reports now suggest the club’s current technical team and new manager have revived their pursuit of the 27-year-old following his exceptional form in Israel.
Kangwa’s creativity, composure in possession and attacking output have continued to raise his profile in European football, with the Chipolopolo midfielder emerging as one of Zambia’s most in-form players abroad.
