YOAKUM, Texas — The Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT) Civil Rights Division and is hosting an event aimed at connecting small businesses with agency representatives and contracting opportunities.
The event, “Doing Business With TxDOT,” will be held from 9 a.m. to noon Wednesday, July 22, at the TxDOT Yoakum District office, 403 Huck St. in Yoakum.
The event is designed to connect small businesses involved in heavy highway construction with TxDOT representatives from construction, maintenance and professional engineering procurement services.
Attendees will also have an opportunity to hear about upcoming projects and network with other small businesses, representatives from local support organizations and members of the Associated General Contractors of Texas.
Space is limited and anyone interested in attending can register by scanning the QR code on the event flyer.
