Transfer news LIVE!
Arsenal are set to announce the signing of Bruno Guimaraes and could now turn to Julian Alavarez, as Chelsea, Manchester United, Liverpool and Tottenham all step up their business in a busy summer window. Guimaraes has passed a medical at Arsenal ahead of his £75million switch from Newcastle, with a four-year deal on the table, while Vinicius has now agreed to a huge new contract offer from Real Madrid. The Gunners will now look at new attacking targets, and are also plotting a fresh bid for Ezri Konsa.
Chelsea are closing in on the signing of Pep Chavarria and eyeing an improved offer for Alex Scott, though Diogo Costa will not be heading to Stamford Bridge. Manchester United remain in pursuit of Lewis Hall amid more links to Sander Berge and Tyler Adams, while they wait to see if Guimaraes’ imminent arrival at Arsenal could boost their hopes over Myles Lewis-Skelly. Liverpool are still pushing for Bradley Barcola as they also target PSG team-mate Ibrahim Mbaye and Djed Spence.
Tottenham want Cody Gakpo and Savinho and are also being linked with a blockbuster move for Raphinha, while Yan Diomande is finally joining Real Madrid and Manchester City want Pedro Neto. Barcelona have now entered the race for Rodri in a major twist. Follow the latest transfer news, rumours and gossip live below!

Arsenal will turn back to a deal for Julian Alvarez after failing to lure Vinicius Jr from Real Madrid.
Ben Jacobs reports that Alvarez is Mikel Arteta’s back-up option, having also missed out on Morgan Rogers.
Reports on X go further by suggesting personal terms on a contract have already been agreed. The Article claim Alvarez would prefer a move to Barcelona but has not ruled out moving back to the Premier League.
Away from all the developments regarding Bruno Guimaraes and Vinicius Jr, Arsenal remain in pursuit of Ezri Konsa.
In addition to bolstering in both midfield and attack, the reigning Premier League champions are also in need of defensive reinforcements amid injuries to the likes of William Saliba and Jurrien Timber – as seen by last night’s concerning 3-1 pre-season friendly defeat by Real Betis in Dublin.
Versatile England centre-back Konsa has been a target throughout the summer window so far, with the Daily Mail now reporting that Aston Villa are braced for a new offer from Arsenal after their previous approach fell some way short of a £60m valuation.
Vinicius Jr has agreed a new contract with Real Madrid, ending Arsenal’s hopes of signing the player.
The Athletic report that the Brazil forward has agreed terms on an improved deal after talks with the Spanish club on Wednesday. An official announcement is expected soon.
Arsenal had identified the 26-year-old as a leading transfer target and were prepared to make a significant move if he became available.
Vinicius has spent eight years at the Bernabeu, making 375 appearances, scoring 128 goals and providing 100 assists. He has won three La Liga titles and two Champions League trophies since joining from Flamengo in 2018.
As you can imagine, Salah will command a hefty salary in Turkey. It is said to be more than Victor Osimhen’s at Galatasaray, which was believed to be the highest.
Rather handily, Trabzonspor have confirmed the exact financial details of the deal. Salah will earn €17million a year, which consists of an annual salary of €10m plus a signing-on fee of €7m.
That works out at around £280,000 a week, including salary and signing-on fee, which is less than he was on at Liverpool.
Salah will receive performance-based bonuses for the duration of his contract, and 20 per cent of any ‘Mohamed Salah’ merchandise the club sell.
Combined, it should match and even surpass his Liverpool contract. Not a bad gig.
Arsenal goalkeeper Tommy Setford is attracting interest from Spanish club Las Palmas.
The Telegraph report that the two sides are now working on a loan agreement.
The proposed move would give the young goalkeeper an opportunity to gain regular first-team experience in La Liga, with Illan Meslier arriving last month to become third-choice stop-stopper.
The England youth international has progressed through Arsenal’s academy and featured around the senior squad during pre-season.
Paris Saint-Germain are holding out for a fee of €150million (£128m) for winger Bradley Barcola.
According to French newspaper L’Equipe, the Ligue 1 champions are unwilling to lower their valuation despite continued interest from Liverpool during the summer transfer window.
The report says the asking price has proved a significant obstacle to any potential deal. Liverpool are understood to value the France international closer to £103m, with the two clubs yet to find common ground.
Barcola is reported to be open to a move to Anfield. However, negotiations remain ongoing and no agreement has been reached between the clubs.
Liverpool are said to be exploring a deal for Tottenham defender Djed Spence.
The Sun report that Spence’s impressive World Cup campaign with England as seen interest in the defender rise.
And Spurs are willing to let the versatile full-back leave Spurs before the summer transfer deadline.
Spurs are said to want around £35m for Spence.
Barcelona are working on a deal to sign Manchester City midfielder Rodri.
According to BBC Sport, the midfielder has encouraged interest from the Spanish giants and talks between the two clubs will soon begin.
Rodri is also of interest in Real Madrid, but talks are said to have gone cold.
The 30-year-old has entered the final year of his contract at the Etihad Stadium and has yet to agree an extension.
Talks between West Ham and Tottenham over a deal for Manor Solomon have stalled because of financial differences.
The Athletic report that West Ham are prepared to pay about £5m for the out-of-favour forward, but are unwilling to agree to the bonus payments Spurs want should they return to the Premier League.
Fiorentina remain in discussions with Tottenham over the Israel international, although the clubs are yet to agree a valuation. Solomon spent last season on loan in Serie A after previous spells with Villarreal and Leeds.
The 27-year-old joined Tottenham in 2023 on a free transfer.
Arsenal are already moving on from Vinicius Jr, and have already identified alternative attacking targets.
The Daily Mail report that the Gunners have been monitoring several options while pushing to convince the Real Madrid striker to sign.
Mikel Arteta remains keen to strengthen his attacking options before the transfer window closes, with a versatile left-sided forward the priority.
