Dominique Dawes Academy launches new gymnastics studio in Spring
Olympic gold medalist Dominique Dawes held a grand opening celebration on Aug. 22 for the newest location of her gymnastics academy in Spring.
As previously reported by Community Impact, Dominique Dawes Academy offers a variety of programs geared towards varying ages and experience levels, including recreational gymnastics, junior gymnastics and competitive gymnastics.
Wakit Rakit opens second padel club in Spring
Wakit Rakit officials said the padel club opened its second location in the Spring area in August. The first original Wakit Rakit opened in the summer at Florida's Space Coast.
Wakit Rakit officials said the padel-only facility features four courts and offers beginner-focused programming including intro to padel classes, social night and leagues.
Stretch Zone bringing new studio to Spring area
The studio provides 30-minute sessions where individuals will practice stretching methods to improve range of motion long-term.
Guests are guided by trainers throughout sessions to achieve a gradual increase in movement without causing muscle strains or tears.

EōSFitness to open in Grand Parkway Center
EōS Fitness officials said the fitness center has plans to expand with a new 40,000-square-foot location in the Grand Parkway Center. Located between the intersection of the Grand Parkway and SH 249, per officials the new EōS Fitness center plans to open in 2027.
Based in Dallas, EōS Fitness has 33 open locations across Houston, the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex and San Antonio, with plans to expand into Austin.
